The gender marker on your ID should not cause a problem. When and if you have a discussion with someone in HR I would recomend that you ask for what you need. Everything that is discussed would stay confidential. You may request that the employer address you as she and Lisa. It is also okay to ask them to put the correct information in your file. The transgender law center has some great information on workplace rights. Best, Clair
